Add a thread
A curated walk through events that already exist in the corpus. Make an argument, trace a chain, propose a counterfactual.
What makes a good thread
- A thesis. If you can't write the coda in one paragraph, the thread isn't ready. The coda is the closing argument — the reason for the walk.
- Three to ten steps. Fewer than three isn't a chain; more than ten is too heavy to read.
- Per-step prose. Each step needs your note (why this step matters to the argument) and a transition (the bridge to the next step). The last step has no transition.
- References existing events. If an event you want isn't in the corpus yet, add it first via the event form — then come back here.
