Add a thread

A curated walk through events that already exist in the corpus. Make an argument, trace a chain, propose a counterfactual.

What makes a good thread

A thesis. If you can't write the coda in one paragraph, the thread isn't ready. The coda is the closing argument — the reason for the walk.
Three to ten steps. Fewer than three isn't a chain; more than ten is too heavy to read.
Per-step prose. Each step needs your note (why this step matters to the argument) and a transition (the bridge to the next step). The last step has no transition.
References existing events. If an event you want isn't in the corpus yet, add it first via the event form — then come back here.
